JAMMU, June 29: A meeting of PDP workers of Raipur-Domana constituency was held today under the chairmanship of Dhaman Bhasin, general secretary, PDP, wherein speakers impressed upon the State Government functionaries for immediate repair of Jammu-Amb Gharota road which is in a very dilapidated condition and has become a hell for the people of the area.
The PDP workers also invited the attention of the concerned authorities for irregular supply of drinking water and electricity in the area.
Senior leader, Chaman Lal Manayal, also invited the attention of the authorities towards the worst condition of Ranbir Canal Road from Akhnoor to Jammu and demanded the upgradation of PHC Bhalwal.
Bhasin assured party workers to take up the matter with the authorities of the concerned departments and simultaneously appealed the Chief Engineer PWD to take up the repair/top mantling of Jammu-Amb Gharota Road on top priority.
The meeting was also attended by senior PDP leaders, Dr Roop Lal Sharma, Chaman Lal Manayal, Resham Singh Jamwal and Rehmat Khan.
