JAMMU, Apr 9: PCC has blamed the PDP-BJP Government for creating an atmosphere of social tension threatening the traditional harmony in the State especially in Jammu region due to their wrong policies and vested political interests.
In a statement, PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma expressed strong resentment and grave concern over the growing mistrust and the attempts to create a wedge in the communities which have lived in peace and harmony for centuries and maintained brotherhood despite provocations. He said the wrong and controversial policies especially the approach of the present Government of North Pole and South Pole, towards various issues have threatened the traditional peace and harmony in the State, especially in Jammu region.
“The BJP, which is equal partner in the Government has miserable failed to handle and deal with the most sensitive issues in the State which has created great resentment and unrest in the region, for which Jammu Bar is spearheading the ongoing agitation. The Congress believes it is the result of total failure of the Government and this has vindicated our stand that the present coalition is unholy and opportunist and it has totally failed more particularly exposed the BJP in the Government,” Sharma added.
