RAMNAGAR, Nov 22: R S Pathania, BJP candidate from Ramnagar Assembly segment, while addressing largely-attended meetings at far-off locations – Kulwanta, Kaitha, Chatriari, Dudu, Shiv Gali, Trunglian, Parla Chakal, Siameri, Dhanali, Merti, Plaei, Sarail, Bhughtrain, Massal, Kanah, Birnu, Neeli, Tentha, Nallah Mallein, Ser Manjla, Neeli, Tenani, Borka, villages has promised to set up a Tourism Development Authority at Ramnagar.
Pathania said that developing tourism shall not only accelerate development in the area and afford proper projection to it but at the same time it shall boost local employment too.
He said that successive regimes and leaders have done least to tap the vast potential brimming, whereas tourist spots at Tamdyal, Kair Gala, Ponara Shiv Gali, Ponara, Keya, Gandh Top, Pachound, Kot, Siameri, Dudu, are exquisitely beautiful and deserve to be developed as ideal tourist sites.
Pathania has sought adequate infrastructure, proper facilities and due projection and publicity to Mata Chountara, Pingla Mata temple, Bihana Choun Mata, Gatolu Mata and Merhada Mata shrines which have crippling inflow of pilgrims.
He has sought development of Garh Samna Banj as a modal spot for snow-skiing. He also sought sanctioning of Gondola project in Dudu-Basantgarh.
Others who accompanied him included Sham Lal, Mandal Pradhan, Ramnagar, Bishan Das, Mandal Pradhan Majalta, Sorav Gupta, Mandal Pradhan Basantgarh, Rajinder Sharma, Capt Gopal Singh, Gopal Dass, Mohan Lal advocate, Amit Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Virinder Singh, Vinu Jamwal, and local leaders.
