JAMMU: Two persons were killed when a passenger taxi they were travelling in plunged into a gorge in Ramban district.
“A passenger taxi on way from Banihal to Chapnari this evening fell into a gorge when the driver lost its control on the vehicle,” police added. They said that the driver namely Arief Saleem, 22, of Chapnari suffered injuries but two others identified as Mohammad Shafi Lone, 60, son of Abdul Aziz Lone and Mohammad Shafi Bohroo,70, son of Abdul Ahad Bohroo, died on the spot.
