It is not for nothing that Kashmir is receiving negative publicity in the media throughout the world. Kashmir has lost it distinction of being the peaceful place in the world. Gone are days when people would throng the Paradise to get soaked in its salbrious environment. There was huge rush of tourists and pilgrims in every part of the State. Kashmir was the favourite destination for newly married couples and they would spend their honeymoon time amid snowbound mountains and gurgling streams. Parents with their children would spend school holidays in cool climes of the Valley. All is gone now thanks to Pakistan sponsored militancy which has ravaged not only the infrastructure but also peace and prosperity of this beautiful place.
The Government must take frame more measures to ensure that peace return the Valley.
