Pak national dies at Rajouri hospital

JAMMU, Jan 19: A Pakistani national who arrived here via Chakkan- Da-Bagh LoC point died in Rajouri hospital last night.
Identified as Shahjahan (80), son of  Rehmat Ullah, resident of Kashmir Colony, Gujranwalla (Pakistan), he had come here to meet his relatives at Manjakote in Rajouri. Originally hailing from  Kotli Kalaban in Majlakote,  he had crossed over to PoK during 1965.
He had arrived in the house of  Haji Mohd Said of Kotli Kalaban on January 16 (Monday). He took Rawlakote-Poonch route to reach here. Last evening, he complained of chest pain and was shifted to Rajouri hospital where he died at around 9 pm.
The authorities conducted the postmortem  of the body today and later handed over to the relatives. It was handed over to the Pakistani authorities at Chakkan-Da-Bagh LoC point in the afternoon with the initiative of DC Poonch.
