Over 35,000 meritorious students benefited with LPU scholarship

JALANDHAR, July 11: Believing strongly that economic condition should not stop meritorious students in having quality higher-education, Lovely Professional University has been offering India’s largest private scholarship programme.
Advantage of this programme has already been reached to over 35,000 meritorious students over the last 7 years.
A student can avail scholarship up to Rs 6.5 lakh depending upon the programme opted and the performance of the student in the last examination as the base of admission.
Board examinations or the national level tests are considered for scholarship entitlement.
LPU is not only recognizing academically strong students but also candidates who have performed illustriously at State, national or international level sports, cultural, co-curricular activities, social services, bravery acts or research & development works.
Admission to LPU Engineering Programmes is through its entrance cum scholarship test LPUNEST which is held in 58 countries. Scholarships are applicable to almost all the over 200 programs offered by the university. Subject to availability of seats, the last date of admission without scholarship is August 10, 2017.

For the last so many years, LPU has been continuously endeavouring to provide quality higher education to all meritorious students. We do not want that a capable student be debarred from receiving quality education only due to financial constraints. I am happy to see that we have been able to make this scholarship program a strong contribution to the society.”
Manda Akhilesh Reddy of West Godavri (Andhra Pradesh), with 98% marks in qualifying examination, has got full fee waiver as scholarship for admission to B Tech CSE Program; Sukriti Jindal of Phagwara (Punjab) with 97% marks has got admission in B Com; Shravan Kumar Bagewadi of Bijapur (Karnaraka) with 96% marks has preferred B Tech CSE (Hons); Chikhale Krishna Balaji of Udgir (Maharashtra) with 97% marks has been enrolled for B Tech-MBA Integrated programme; and, Rikki Jain of Surat (Gujarat) with 94% marks has chosen M Sc (Hons) Bio-Technology.
