Srinagar, Oct 20: Police today said a person was killed while another was injured in two separate road accidents in Anantnag and Srinagar districts.
A police spokesman said a truck bearing registration number PB11BR-8847 and an I-10 car bearing registration number JK03D-9138 collided at Semthan village of Sangam in Anantnag district, resulting in on spot death of I-10 Car driver identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Ganie. He said police has registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said an Auto Rickshaw hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Mastoor Ahmad Malik at Nowgam near HDFC Bank on city outskirts here Srinagar. “The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman added.
