RAJOURI, May 17: The Excise raiding team today organised operation in several villages of Rajouri and seized 60 kg lahan and 7 litres of illicit liquor and arrested one person under Excise Act.
Official sources said that Excise team led by Inspector Excise, Rajouri Mr Parvez, under the supervision of ETO, Farooq Choudhary conducted raids at Muradpur, Agarti, Chingus Graht and Narian and seized 60 kg lahan and 7 litres of illicit liquor. One bootlegger, Bimla Devi hailing from Graht area was also apprehended by the team under Excise Act. The recovered consignment was destroyed on the spot.
