Omar flays BJP’s power game in Goa, Manipur

NEW DELHI: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah today flayed BJP for trying to come to power in Goa and Manipur by managing numbers through “defections”, however he said declining Government formation opportunities to single largest party has not happened for the first time.

“That’s not cricket!!! You can’t claim to be the party with the difference & then force your way to power by engineering defections. #shame,” Mr Abdullah tweeted. In another message in the micro blogging site, he further said, “It isn’t automatic. In 2002 NC was single largest  but Governor called Congress & PDP because he was satisfied they had the numbers to form Government”. (AGENCIES)
