Srinagar, Oct 8: The Government today stated that there is no need to simplify the process of issuance of Permanent Residential Certificates (PRCs) as the same has been done earlier.
“The process of issuance of PRCs has been already simplified and no need has been felt to further simplify the procedure,” the Minister for Revenue stated in reply to a question of MLC Ramesh Arora in Upper House.
The Minister stated that the service has been included in Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011, to make the issuance of PRC time bound. “Besides, the documents have also been enlisted in the Act, which will be required for obtaining PRCs,” the Minister stated.
