JAMMU, Apr 13: NHPC Regional Office Jammu provided one floor cleaning machine costing Rs 3.50 lakh to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar and 68 units of dustbins to Railway Station Jammu costing Rs 10 lakh.
The distribution of floor cleaning machine and dustbins were carried out in the presence of Kavinder Gupta, Speaker Legislative Assembly and S Kelgaonkar, Executive Director of NHPC.
On the occasion, Medical Superintendent of Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Dr Madhuri Salathia, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr Arun Sharma, Station Manager of Jammu Railway Station Ashwani Kumar and officers and employees of NHPC and Government Ho-spital Gandhi Nagar were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that NHPC is also engaged in performing its Corporate Social Responsibility in addition to the power generation in State of Jammu and Kashmir. He called upon all the people to ensure their participation regularly to make the cleaning campaign launched by the Prime Minister of India a success.
S Kelgaonkar of NHPC reiterated his commitment to work towards this direction in the future.
