NCP to contest by-elections from Srinagar seat

JAMMU, Mar 15:  State unit of Nationalist Congress Party has decided to contest By-elections from Srinagar Lok Sabha seat.
A meeting of the senior NCP leaders was held today in the central office of the party under the chairmanship of State president of  NCP and former minister Th Randhir Singh where it was unanimously decided to contest the forthcoming by-elections in Srinagar- Budgam Lok Sabha constituency.
State working committee has recommended the only name of GM Pal,  vice president state NCP and senior founder member of NCP in the state who contested the last assembly elections from Beerwah.   State president also formed five member campaign committee headed by GM Pal  alongwith  Krishan Kumar Digra , vice president , Dr Liaquat Ali Magray  vice president ,  Javed F Rehman , vice president, RS Billowaria , general secretary NCP, Saifullah Khan general secretary, RC Bali, Chairman NCP Sewa Dal to campaign for the party candidate.
