It is hard not to love this actor because of his art of putting his soul in any character that he used to play. “Now the time has changed and the film industry is being accepted by the families without much restrains but requirements, responsibilities and professional standards has certainly gone up with passing time making it more tough to meet the required set of goals but certainly not impossible if we keep a strong, focused and committed approach towards our dreams,” Rishi told the Excelsior in an interview.

“After completing my academics I went to Mumbai from where I decided to go abroad to shape my career. I joined modeling in New Zealand and stayed there for few years. Tasting the fruits of success in modeling world for years then I decided to come back with a passion to pursue my career as a film actor in Bollywood. Also, I did all the contemporary courses of that time related to my subject to attain the real essence of a professional actor,” he said.
Mukesh Rishi, started his career with ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan’ but he believes that it was the movie ‘Gardish’ with which his actual career in Bollywood started and after that there was no looking back .Now he has to his credit the distinction of movies from Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Punjabi, and Tamil.
Mukesh Rishi has cemented his position in the world of cinema with the sheer hard work, focused approach and strong commitment to excel in the world of cinema.
“The time when I started my career in cinema was very difficult as it was tough to convince parents but I was lucky as it didn’t happen in my case. So I took chance to leave behind my foreign life and started again it from zero. Therefore, I worked very hard, learned everything as I was never an actor ,and had never ever been familiar to stage. I learned and improved everything from my mistakes. So it was not easy for me to become an actor,” he said.
Mukesh Rishi did acknowledge during the interview that youth is required to shed away the farraginous character towards their career. Youth should be clear about which way they want to orient their life. Grip over basics and command over delivering your best are the primary requirements of any field and also there is now no dearth of options and opportunities but those who are thinking to be a part of Bollywood are required to be fully trained, learned and polished before entering the world of contemporary cinema.
“You need to learn the things which are very important, so whosoever dreams to shine in Bollywood should come fully prepared not with a phobia that Bollywood is going to coach or train them. Mumbai is a huge city flooded with challenges and it will be a Himalayan blunder if someone comes raw to learn there. I will ask the youth to start the process of learning seriously at home, work on your drawbacks, weaknesses and repeal negativity from your personality and finally when your heart and mind permits you that now I am ready to take off in this field then certainly every body should give a chance to themselves. But at the same time one needs to be honest in accepting the failures too if your efforts do not pay the positive and desired results in a prescribed time period. Stop there, come back and set your journey again on new mission with dedication and devotion surely you will taste success,” he asserted.
Mukesh Rishi has to his credit the famous Bollywood movies like Sarfarosh, Pukar, Koi-Mil Gaya, Force and many more in the list.
