MP, MLA, SWB delegation call on CM

JAMMU, Dec 7: A deputation led by Member Parliament, Fayaz Ahmad Mir today called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and brought several developmental issues of Kupwara district into her focus.
Mir sought pacing up of work on the electric receiving stations of Trehgam, Drugmulla, Kralpora and early completion of Water Supply Schemes at Kawari, Heeri, Bramri and Drugmulla. He also demanded upgradation of power distribution and health system in the district.
The Chief Minister assured the deputation to look into their demands in a time bound manner.
MLA, Kulgam, M Y Tarigami also called on the Chief Minister and raised several issues pertaining to his constituency and sought their urgent redressal.

Meanwhile, in connection with the pinning ceremony on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, a delegation of Sainik Welfare Board (SWB) led by its Director, Brig. (R) Harcharan Singh called on the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister, on the occasion, urged people to donate generously for the welfare of ex-servicemen, widows and dependent families of the personnel.
The other members of the delegation which met the Chief Minister included Maj. Gen. Sunita Kapoor (Retd.); Col. Rawel Singh (Retd.); Hony Capt. Sansar Chand and Havildar Rashid Ahmad (Retd.).
