JAMMU, Jan 11: A motorcycle and a car have been stolen from the jurisdictions of Gandhi Nagar and Nowabad Police Stations respectively.
As per police sources, a complaint has been lodged by Sanjay Singh, son of Vikram Singh, a resident of Basholi with Police Station Gandhi Nagar stating that some unidentified persons have stolen his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AG-5735 from Ware House area.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 9/18 under Section 379 RPC has been registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the thieves.
Meanwhile, a white colour Santro car bearing registration number JK02N-2332 has been stolen from Chand Nagar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad Police Station.
However, Nowabad Police has taken no cognizance in this regard despite repeated requests by the owner.
