UDHAMPUR, Mar 21: Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Pawan Kumar Gupta kick started the road construction work from main Ossu to Paidbalo community in Kotlivala Panchayat in Udhampur Assembly segment.
The Minister also launched a water scheme in Laddan to solve age-old water crisis faced by the residents and inaugurated a hand-pump in Basantri area.
Sarpanch of Kotliwala area who was present with many others spoke about the development started by Pawan Kumar Gupta after coming to power. He said the people of the area are very much assured that with Pawan Kumar Gupta at the helm of affairs here, development works would not be stalled.
The Minister while addressing the local populace said that his earnest efforts would be to ensure that roads, power and water reach every nook and corner of the district. He also said that in coming days he would start Janta Darbars where local people and officials in charge could meet for expedited resolution of problems faced by the local masses.
