PARIS : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif on the margins of the UN Climate Summit here.
This is the first meeting of the two leaders after Ufa in Russia where the two leaders had gone for BRICS summit. Mr Modi and Mr Sharif had a warm hand shake and a brief chat as they arrived at the venue of the summit.
The two leaders were earlier at the UN General Assembly Session in New York at the same time but their encounter was just confined to waving hands from a distance. (UNI)
