RAMBAN, May 15: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh kick-started blacktopping work of road from its take up point Kanteer Nallah to Sundhgali road in presence of large number of people and other senior officers of the R&B Department.
Speaking on the occasion MLA said it was a long pending demand of the people of the area. The project was executed by PWD (R&B). Providing of road connectivity to far flung areas of this hilly Constituency is on my priority and already existing roads to be macadamized and also efforts are going on to reach the last man of the Constituency, he added.
He directed the concerned department to complete the work in stipulated time. He said that all the developmental works in Ramaban Constituency will be fast paced so that these can be completed in a time bound manner.
He said no compromise will be made with the quality of work and special care will be taken and this road will be very helpful for the people living in far away villages and local residents.
