JAMMU, Dec 31: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Nowshera Ravinder Raina today chaired the Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting at CHC Sunderbani.
Prior to the conduct of meeting, MLA conducted a detailed round of all the sections of the hospital along with all the members of Rogi Kalyan Samiti and Tehsil Administration officers to take stock of the prevailing condition of hospital premises.
Block Medical Officer Sunderbani, Dr Govind Sharma presented the welcome address followed by presentation of the agenda for the meeting.
In the meeting all the agenda points were deliberated in details by the members and accorded required approval. The main focus was to accord financial approval for various activities aimed at improving the patient care services as well as strengthening the required infrastructure and improving the quality of sanitation in and around the hospital.
In total, funds to the tune of Rs 9.63 lakh were accorded approval for implementing the various decisions taken in the meeting.
Ravinder Raina interacted with the officials of hospital to make this institution one of the premier health icon in State.
The meeting was attended by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar Sunderbani and other sartorial officers from the different departments and public representatives along with local NGO Saathi Seva Manch.
In the end, Dr Govind Sharma presented vote of thanks.
