CHENANI, Oct 3: MLA Chenani Dina Nath Bhagat kick started black- topping work of road in Latti area of Dudu Sub Division.
After the construction of this road in 1987, for the first time, macadamization work with machine is being done in this area. Earlier, R&B department used to do this work manually. On public demand it has been initiated this time.
The MLA in presence of members of Latti Development Committee led by KL Gupta and other prominent persons of the area kick started the work. The locals of the area have widely appreciated the quality of work being executed there despite the fact that hot mixing plant is located at Udhampur. Five kilometer road stretch covering entire Latti Tehsil headquarters is being black topped in first phase, a member of LDC said.
