Srinagar, Dec 19: Miscreants barged into the premises of Government High School Sanant Nagar and harassed the staff. They allegedly damaged the boundary wall of the school.
Armed with iron rods and crowbars the miscreants first forced their entry into the school building and misbehaved with the female staff. Later, the group demolished part of the boundary wall while hurling threats at the female staff.
The frightened staff approached the higher authorities including Director School Education Kashmir immediately and also informed the local police.
A police party visited the spot. However, no one was arrested.
Residents said that the school ground of the school had become a favourite place for drug addicts after school hours forcing authorities recently to rebuild the boundary wall. The locals are also resisting construction of a hall inside the school premises.
