Mir asks people to strengthen hands of secular forces

SRINAGAR, Apr 22: Minister for Tourism Ghulam Ahmed Mir held road shows and public meetings in his home constituency of Dooru Shahabad in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
While addressing public meetings, Mir asked the people to vote for the development and not in favour of those who wants to divide people.
“People should strengthen the hands of secular forces led by Congress president Rahul Gandhi and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and vote for the coalition candidate”, Mir who heads the Congress Party’s campaign for its coalition partner National Conference in Anantnag Parliamentary seat said.
The road show and public meetings were held at Luckbown, Shistergam, Kreeri, Malikpora, Shepora and many other places in the Dooru Shahabad constituency.
Mir was accompanied by senior party leader Inayat Rather district president Congress Kulgam and Hilal Ahmad Shah, secretary, Pradesh Congress Committee during the road show.
