SAMBA, Sept 2: Vijaypur police rescued a kidnapped girl from Katra and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a complaint was filed by family members with police station Vijaypur stating that their 14 year old daughter has been kidnapped by Sachin Kohli, son of Sewa nath of Bada Daghore.
Acting over the complaint, a case under Section 363 RPC was registered at Vijaypur police station and investigation started.
On reliable information, the girl has been rescued from Katra and the accused has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Vijaypur Inspector Suraj Pathania made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Abhishek Sharma and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
