Middle aged among two hang self

JAMMU, Oct 23: A middle aged person was among two persons, who allegedly committed suicide by hanging  themselves in Purkhoo and Udheywala areas of the winter capital.
As per reports, 43-year-old Ashok Kumar, son of Harbans Lal of Dummi Sobke, presently residing at Purkhoo allegedly committed suicide by hanging  himself at his residence.
Finding him hanging, family members informed the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Surinder Koul, son of Manohar Nath Koul of Udheywala also committed suicide by hanging himself at his house.
Family members after spotting him hanging, informed the police and shifted Surinder to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
