JAMMU, Nov 28: State president, BJP SC Morcha and MLA Samba, Dr D K Manyal today  kick started Purmandal to Padal road in village Morhghar which is around 3.5 km long and will be constructed at an approximate cost of Rs 30 lakh.
Manyal also laid foundation stone of play field in village Keuli near middle Gujjar nallah ST Basti. This project will be constructed on an estimated cost of Rs 15 lakh.
Addressing a series of public gatherings, MLA said that Government is committed to  development of far-flung areas of the State in terms of infrastructure development and ensuring basic facilities. He said Government is keen to eradicate poverty and backwardness from the far-off areas and focused attention is being given to unattended areas in this regard.
He said that priority of the Government is to provide basic amenities to the people besides improving the existing infrastructure in rural and hilly areas while particular attention is being paid to develop education, power, health sectors and ensuring better mobile and road connectivity.
Manyal also visited Primary Health Centre (PHC) Purmandal and interacted with doctors and staff.
Local people requested Manyal to direct CMO Samba to depute permanent X-ray technician in PHC because X-ray Technician who is posted is not attending.
BDO Purmandal Deepali, AEE & JEs,  SHO Purmandal Javid Ahmed, Ex-Sarpanch Ramesh, Govind Master, Hem Raj and some BJP activists besides locals were present on the occasion.
