Mankotia asks NPP activists to gear up for Panchayat elections

UDHAMPUR, Oct 19: Former MLA and NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia today asked the party activists to gear up for the forthcoming Panchayat elections in the State.
Addressing a meeting of party workers here today, NPP leader said that Panthers Party is garnering mass support from all over the region. He asked the party workers to reach out to the grass root level and project issues of the common masses.
Mankotia appealed to all the workers that in upcoming elections we should need to rise above the religion, communal lines, because the elections will conclude with in month but our brotherhood remains for centuries.
Lambasting the other political parties, Mankotia blamed that other parties are exploiting general public in the name of religion/caste from many decades but only NPP follows the principle of companionship & never believes to differentiate peoples in the name of religion or caste.
Criticising the failure of local representatives to fulfil the basic needs of general public, Mankotia point out their work policy and said that from last 4 years Udhampur’s development scenario is completely eclipsed. Scarcity of water & electricity is the most burning issue of the constituency, he added
Mankotia appealed to maintain unity and companionship for upcoming elections and also discusses the names of Sarpanch’s and Panch’s.
Scores of Party activists from different Panchayats also attended the meeting.
