JAMMU, Dec 26: Manhas Mahasabha has strongly condemned and opposed the undemocratic and illegal election conducted by some people of the Biradari at Paloura the other day.
Reacting to the reports regarding Manhas Biradari election published in a section of press, a spokesman of Manhas Mahasabha, Jammu said that an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of Manhas Mahasabha was held here today under the chairmanship of its present -Harnam Singh. The members strongly condemned the illegal election of the self styled Manhas Biradari president.
He said Manhas Mahasabha is a registered body having its constitution, whereas, Harnam Singh is the constitutional president. His successor can be chosen in a democratic way. No other mode is acceptable to Manhas Biradari. They opposed the illegal nomination of Kashmir Singh.
The executive body members present in the meeting included- Jasbir Singh (Retd Judge), Avtar Singh, Joginder Singh, Ghar Singh, Jarnail Singh, Udham Singh, Multan Singh, Bhan Singh, Dhanatar Singh and others.
