SRINAGAR, Mar 3: Police today said man was killed after he was injured in a scuffle in Uttersoo area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir.
A police spokesman said police received information regarding the scuffle between two families at Bochin Uttersoo in Anantnag on some land dispute. “One person identified as Ghulam Rasool Bhat was critically injured in this scuffle and was shifted to hospital by his family for treatment.
“On this information, police arrested two persons who were identified as Javaid Ahmad Bhat and Showkat Ahmad Bhat. The said person succumbed to his injuries today in the hospital,” the police spokesman added.
A case under FIR number 13/2017 under section 307 /302 RPC was registered and investigation was taken up, the spokesman added.
