JAMMU, May 16: An unidentified youth of age about 22 years died tonight due to suspected cardiac arrest at Railway Station Jammu.
According to a police spokesman, an unidentified youth collapsed tonight at about 9.20 O’ Clock at platform No 1 of Railway Station Jammu when he was going to board Kranti Express.
The spokesman said that in unconscious, the youth was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. In this connection, GRP Jammu has started inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPc.
Later, as per an election card found from his pocket, the deceased was identified as Raees son of Hamid, resident of Ward No 2, Prem Nagar, Banaura, district Muradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
