RAMBAN, Nov 30: A man died due to alleged drug overdose, while the condition of his associate is critical.
As per police sources, two persons identified as Imtiaz Hussain (NRHM employee), son of Mohammad Ibrahim and his associate Mohammad Amin Lohar (driver), son of Abdul Rashid Lohar, both residents of Gool were brought to District Hospital Ramban in critical condition.
During treatment, Imtiaz Hussain failed to respond and died, while his associate has been referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
It is suspected that the deceased and his associate have allegedly consumed some drugs and Imtiaz died due to alleged drug overdose.
Gool police has taken cognizance in this regard.
