JAMMU, Feb 15: A 34-year old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence here in Bakshinagar area.
According to police spokesman, the man identified as Dushyant Singh son of late Yashpal Singh, resident of House No 396, Old Gurha (Bakshi Nagar), was found hanging in his room by the family members late last night.
He said on getting information, a police party reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting autopsy it was today handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
The Bakshi Nagar police had taken cognizance of the matter.
