DODA, Dec 28: A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substances, here today.
As per police sources, Joginder Singh (30), son of Amar Singh, a resident of Mohallah allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at Tandwa Bhalla.
He was rushed to District Hospital Doda and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last.
After conducting autopsy at District Hospital Doda tomorrow, the body of the deceased will be handed over to family members for last rites.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC has been initiated by Police Station Doda.
