Lord Hanuman Jayanti celebrated with fervour

JAMMU, Apr 15: Lord Hanuman Jayanti was today celebrated with great religious fervour all across the Jammu region with devotees thronging Hanuman ji temples all over and paying their obeisance to God and seeking blessings.
Devotees said  it was a rare occasion when Lord Hanuman’s Jayanti fell on Tuesday and, therefore, the occasion is being considered as very auspicious.
Devotees started thronging at Pracheen Hanuman Mandir at Moti Bazaar right from the early hours today and the rush continued till late tonight. People offered ‘ladoos’ to Lord Hanuman and offered prayers.
Several functions including Ramayan Path, Bhajan Sandhya, Langar etc were organised during past four day to mark the anniversary of Lord Hanuman Ji at Pracheen Mandir, Moti Bazaar. A large number of devotees participated in the functions.
People also thronged almost all temples or Lord Hanuman Ji to offer prayers and invoke blessings of the God on Hanuman Jayanti. Langars were organised at various temples.
