SAMBA, Nov 30: Lions Club Samba International organized a free eye medical checkup camp at Dina Nath Memorial Hall Samba under the presidentship of Vikas Sharma, president, Lions Club Samba International.
The camp was inaugurated by Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament (MP), Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency, along with MLA Samba, Dr Davinder Kumar Manyal.
During the camp, about 300 patients were checked up by a team of doctors led by Eye Specialists, Dr Kulrattan Anand and Dr Pallavi Jamwal. 20 patients were identified for the eye operation. Free medicines, free specs and many other facilities were provided free of cost to the patients
While speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore Sharma said Lions Club Samba International took a great initiative for the sake of poor people who are not able to pay for the eye operation.
