JAMMU, July 16: Life Insurance Corporation of India organized a grand function to felicitate top performing agents here today.
The function was infact, organized to honour the top performing agents of Srinagar Division of the LIC, who procured 100 or more policies during the last financial year.
Speaking on the occasion, Senior Divisional Manager of Srinagar Division ( J&K State) TS Bali highlighted the performance of Srinagar Division. He informed that in the last financial year, Srinagar Division, which covers entire J&K completed more than 1.25 lakh policies along with fresh premium of Rs166 crore.
Mr Bali informed that Srinagar Division was ranked 1st in Northern Zone and 3rd in the country in terms of growth on number of policies. He informed that Srinagar Division settled claims amounting to Rs 4.28 crore during the last financial year. In the current financial year as on June 30, 2016, Srinagar Division has procured 27,455 policies with fresh premium of Rs 39 crore and again Srinagar Division is ranked 1st in the Northern Zone in achievement to budget in policies.
He informed that LIC is offering policy from basket of plans ranging from Term insurance, Health Insurance, Pension Plans, Children Insurance and Endowment & Whole Life Plans. He said LIC has already started innovative digital initiative by providing e-services to its policy holders. He also informed that LIC of India is committed to provide its best services to its clients and asked agents to help policyholders in submitting their mobile number and NEFT details so that instant service and information can be provided to the policyholders.
