HIRANAGAR, May 29: In order to apprise the under trial prisoners and jail inmates of Sub Jail Hiranagar on the subject “plea bargaining basic concept” chairperson Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Hiranagar, Preet Simran Kour along with members of Bar Association Hiranagar held a legal awareness camp in the premises of Sub Jail Hira Nagar.
The incharge Jail Superintendent, Sub Jail Hiranagar Madan Lal Sharma, Probationary Superintendent Jail Mushtaq Ahmed Malla and other staff of the jail were also present.
Besides JMIC Hira Nagar, Preet Simran Kour who spoke included included senior advocate, Thakur Ranjit Singh, Vijay Sharma, Ram Sangra, Sandharab Dogra all advocates and legal aid lawyers, Sohan Singh and Ashok Sharma.
The Judicial Magistrate Hiranagar interacted with the inmates of the jail regarding their hardships and insecurities experienced by them.
