REASI, Nov 5: Talwara police recovered a kidnapped lady from Pathankot and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, on October 25 a person hailing from Talwara lodged a complaint with police post Talwara stating that her wife had been kidnapped by Kishore Singh, son of Sabal Singh of Bathoie Mahore.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 160/16 under Section 366 RPC was registered at Reasi police station and hunt was launched to trace out the kidnapped lady.
Based on reliable information, a team from Talwara police station conducted raid in Pathankot area of Punjab and recovered the kidnapped lady. The accused tried to escape from the spot, but cops also nabbed him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Talwara police post SI Vinod Kumar recovered the kidnapped lady and arrested the accused under the supervision of SHO Reasi Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, SP Headquarters Reasi Mujeeb-ur-Rehman and SSP Reasi Tahir Bhat.
