RAJOURI, Aug 6: The police recovered a girl hailing from Budhal area during raid at a village in Shopian in Kashmir today also arrested her kidnapper.
The police said that 23 year-old Gulzar Akhtar (name changed), daughter of Mohd Shabir, resident of Budhal was allegedly kidnapped by one Mohd Rafiq, son of Mohd Ayub, resident of the same area on July30. The police party led by SHO Budhal Jahangir Ahmed on the basis of information, arrested the kidnapper and recovered the girl from Saddo village in Shopian. A case FIR No. 49/ 2017 has been registered in this connection.
