‘Kailash with Mohan Ji’ released

JAMMU, July 15: “Kailash with Mohan Ji’’ a unique travelogue by a group of people who accompanied the spiritual master Mohanji to Kailash Mansarovar in 2012 was released at a simple but impressive function by Dr Jitendra Singh a well known scholar and author and Prof Lalit Mangotra, president Dogri Sanstha at a simple but impressive function in the auditorium of the MCA Department of Jammu.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Dr Jitendra Singh who was the chief guest on the occasion spoke about the three pillars of existence such as clarity of mind, conviction and courage of conviction. He said these are vita qualities which every individual should possess irrespective of one’s spiritual status.
He said for continuing clarity one has to give a lot of sacrifice. Moreover there should be strong conviction and one should stick to it. He should believe what he himself wants to believe and not what his master or boss wants him to believe, he added.
Dr Jitendra Singh said along with conviction courage is also needed. One must not hesitate in opposing the wrong what consequences he may have to face and added that Mahatma Gandhi was a practical follower of courage of conviction principle.
Prof Lalit Mangotra said the book of spiritual Master Mohanji is a good piece which links us with nature’s beauty. It creates feelings of goodness, happiness and beauty.
Maintaining that clarity is needed in today’s spiritual world, Mohan Ji said this will lead to conviction and when there is more conviction there is more courage.
He said strong conviction leads to courage and one should be fearless with awareness. These are the true fundamentals of life, he added.
He said Kailash represents the ultimate destination of man. It can be achieved only through constant awareness and shedding of all accumulated baggage of existence.
Sumit Partap Gupta described the reason for this book as a unique travelogue where people who traveled and did not travel spoke their experiences while travel was on. This means both gross travel and subtle journey through inner connection. This makes the book unique and one of its kind’’, he added.
The people from all walks of life including students, professors and intellectuals attended the function.
