JAMMU, July 4: Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a protest demanding Governor N N Vohra to dissolve the defunct Legislative Assembly and Council.
The protest was led by JWAM president, Sunil Dimple, who appealed Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Governor N N Vohra to dissolve Legislative Assembly as well as Council and chairmen of all the boards as these are unnecessary burden on the public exchequer when the Governor rule has been declared in the State.
He also demanded not to hold elections in the State till permanent peace is restored in Valley and Kashmiri Pandits are not settled with dignity in Kashmir. He also demanded re-arrest of released stone pelters, deportation of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis, not to hold any dialogue with separatists and Pakistan.
Dimple said that the Governor rule should continue till last Pakistan agent, anti national element and the last stone pelter is eliminated from the Kashmir and the complete peace and normalcy is restored may it take ten years.
