SRINAGAR:  Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today said state Government employees have to wait for implementation of 7th pay commission, announced by the Government of India for central Government employees recently.

Speaking in the Legislative Council today, she said the state is facing bad financial position therefore the government was not in a position to implement the 7th pay commission report.

”We request the employees and their unions to wait for at least two more years to get the benefit of new pay commission,” she said adding the government has  many liabilities, including provident fund. Besides, she said if the 61000 casual, contractual and others are regularised, the employees had to wait for two years. (AGENCIES)
