JAMMU, Jan 5: JK Bank Academy was among the winners on day-2 of the 2nd Phase of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup League Football Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
JK Bank Academy defeated DFA Leh by two goals to one (2-1) in a hard fought contest.
In another match played today, DFA Poonch got the better of DFA Rajouri by two goals to one (2-1), while in yet another match, DFA Kargil prevailed over DFA Kathua via tie-breaker by six goals to five (6-5).
In the fourth match, DFA Udhampur defeated DFA Reasi by two goals to nil (2-0).
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Dheeraj, Rocky Sharma, Ricky, Sanjay, Vijay Kumar and Romesh.
In tomorrow’s fixture, DFA Kargil will take on DFA Poonch, while JK Bank Academy will face DFA Udhampur.
