JAMMU, Jan 29: M.L.A Bani  Jewan Lal today kick started two PMGSY road work including 6 KM Baiken to Balzedi road link to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 5.6 crore, and 18.4 KM Duggan to Dhaman road link having estimated cost of Rs 18 crore in Bani Constituency.
Addressing public gatherings the M.L.A said Rs 3600 crore PMGSY outlay for the State has been sanctioned from Center Government in last two years in 10th stage which will improve rural connectivity by providing all weather motorable roads. He added that one road from Deri Galla to Dhaggar and bridges were taken up under Central Road Funds (CRF) which will connected Bani and Billawer habitations.
Lal said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is keen  to provide the road connectivity to the rural areas by funding Centrally sponsored schemes and PMGSY is one of the major schemes to provide rural connectivity and to develop hilly areas. He further added that these two roads were the major demand of inhabitants which provide   rural connectivity to the villages of Dhaggar and Balzedi of Bani Constituency.
M.L.A assured to initiate more developmental work in the Constituency in near future.
Executive Engineer PMGSY Pawan Kumar Bhagat, JE PMGSY Madan Lal, JE Sunil Sharma and others. Including BJP State Executive Member .Uttam Chand, Distt. vice president BJP  Bishamber Firangita, Mandal President Bani,  Thaker Dass, general secretary,  Moti Ram, Dhani Ram Lalhal, Dayan Singh ex Sarpanch, Sher Singh, Shan Ali  were also present on the occasion.
