KATHUA, Apr 7: Jasrotia Warriors and United Kathua Football Club registered wins over their rivals in the Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament at Sports Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Jasrotia Warriors FC defeated Dhanni FC by two goals to nil (2-0). Prabhjyot scored both the goals for Warriors to fetch the man of the match award.
In another match, a well balanced and strong side of FC United Kathua defeated newly formed Basohli Camp FC by eight goals to nil (8-0). Abhishek Manhas scored a hat-trick to bag man of the match award.
Technical panel included Sushil, Pankaj, Sarthak, Meenakshi and Manpreet.
The league is being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) and is being sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council (JKSSC).
