Jasrotia kick starts developmental works worth Rs 1.12 cr

KATHUA, Mar 18: MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia, today kick started developmental works worth Rs 1.12 crores in various villages falling under his constituency.
He was accompanied by local BJP workers and Government officials including BDO Chandan. The MLA kick started various development works including lanes and drains, pond, playground and tractor roads at villages Khanyara, Maha, Jagatpur, Patoli and Chak Ghotala.
While addressing an impressive gathering, Jasrotia said that implementation of various developmental activities undertaken by the Government has been fast-paced and is being regularly monitored. He said it is the endeavor of the Government to ensure time-bound completion of works so that people get benefitted.
The MLA said due to the sustained efforts of the Government much headway has been achieved in ensuring time bound completion of the developmental initiatives undertaken in various sectors. He said necessary instructions have already been passed to the executing agencies to hold regular meetings by which the pace of implementation of these works can be gauged and their completion within the stipulated time lines ensured.
Jasrotia said that the present dispensation is committed for equitable development of all sections of the society and has launched various flagship programmes in this regard. He said that the Union Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been providing liberal funding to the State for accelerating developmental and economic activities adding that Kathua constituency is being developed in all respects to develop it on modern lines.
Calling upon youth to derive maximum benefit from employment schemes, he enjoined upon the youth to inculcate spirit of entrepreneurship and look beyond Government sector for jobs. The MLA assured that all genuine demands of the people would be addressed at the earliest.
