JAMMU May 30: District Administration, Jammu today launched a Facebook page in order to utilize the social media to connect with the people for information sharing and also in order to dispel any rumour/incorrect information in the public domain.
The Facebook Page will be operated by the NIC wing of the DC Office and by the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu himself. The decision to go on Facebook was particularly necessary because of massive reliance placed by the large number of people on such social medial portals.
The FB page can be searched with the name “District Administration Jammu”. It has the official logo of J&K.
