JAMMU, Jan 21: President of Jamia Masjid Bathindi, Ch Ghulam Rasool, organized an Islamic conference at Bathindi on last Sunday.
Renowned Islamic scholar from UP, Mufti Sageer Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion while a number of other Islamic scholars attended the conference.
Mufti Sageer, in his speech, threw light on the teachings of Prophet Mohammad and emphasized for unity, brotherhood, mutual love and amity.
The others who attended the conference, included Moulana Hasan Raza (Imam Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Bathindi), Moulana Farooq Ahmad, Moulana Mushtaq, Mufti Aslam Moulana Muzaffar and Moulana Abdul Qayoom.
