Installation of Artificial Intelligent Lighting System reviewed

JAMMU, Dec 3: In order to ensure smooth installation of Artificial Intelligent Lighting System, a team of officers of JMC, Traffic police, PWD and M/s DIMTS conducted a tour of the different locations within the Jammu city to ensure smooth shifting to the new system.
The team comprised of Rajesh Sharma, Joint Commissioner of JMC, Nisha Nathyal, SSP Traffic Jammu, AEE Electric JMC, representatives of PWD and some employees of M/s DIMTS, the company entrusted with the job of installation of Artificial Intelligent Lighting System in Jammu city.
The team inspected the newly installed lighting system along the National Highway starting from Greater Kailash up to Qasim Nagar crossing. The concerned departments were asked to remove the deficiencies where ever noticed so that the system is made functional fully in a smooth manner.
The executing agency i.e. M/s DIMITS was asked to relocate the towers where ever the visibility to commuters was not proper. Besides, the executing company was asked to increase the height of some towers, which were of short height.
The PWD(R&B) Department was asked to make minor repairs and putting yellow lines, at specified locations on the road. The company was further asked to complete the job of installation of pending lights on an urgent basis.
