Infiltration tunnel

It is not entirely surprising that 280 meters long, 20 feet deep and 3-4 meters in diameter tunnel has been dug by Pakistani planners in the forward village of Chechwal in Samba district with the purpose of sending armed terrorists into the Indian side at international border. Pakistani ultras are desperate for two reasons. One is that the Indian army has upgraded its strategy of taking on the infiltrators at the very point of entry and deny them any chance of escaping the surveillance of alert army jawans. The second is that the ranks of infiltrators and terrorists are depleting fast because recruitment from Kashmir has come down considerably. In recent days the security forces have intercepted messages exchanged between the ultras seeking additional manpower. In the background of this scenario, handlers of Pakistani infiltrators will go all-out to strive every nerve to adopt new methods of infiltration and subversion.  But let it be clear to Pakistan and the handlers of all its jihadi groups that no tactics howsoever secretive will be allowed to fructify by alert Indian security personnel.
